mythweather startup snafus

Description
mythweather deosn't successfuly download any weather the first time it's run. i always have to hit "OK" at the dialog box which is telling me it timed out, and then (looking at the link activity) everything is downloaded and shows correctly. this makes startup take a long time. also, if there is no network connection, and it times out and i choose "Cancel" it always goes through at least one more cycle of trying to download the weather data. this takes 30-45 seconds. it then tells me a second time it couldn't download, and if i choose "Cancel" again, it will quit mythweather as it is supposed to do.

I just tested this in SVN and it appears to successfully download weather the first time it is run.
