mkv playback does not start

Description

I have a problem with mkv files. In Mythvideo I could play them without problems and I think I could play them in MythTV 0.25. I can also play them in vlc. When I try to start them in MythTV 0.26.0_p20130526 nothing happens. I turned on all logging as far as I can see, but it did not help me in understanding what went wrong. As far as I can see, a child is started and it exits immediately. But I don't know what child, so I cannot debug any further. Any help would be appreciated. If someone would help me a little and point me in the right direction I would even be willing to look into the sourcecode.

Resolution: → Invalid
Status: new → closed

You are trying to run the external video player "internal". You need to reset your player back to "Internal".
