Priority: | minor | Milestone: | 0.26.2 |
Component: | MythTV - General | Version: | 0.26-fixes |
Severity: | medium | Keywords: | event sysevent key trigger handler |
Cc: | Ticket locked: | no |
Description
Map a key i.e. CTRL+1 to a sysevent. Register a command under that sysevent, i.e. /usr/bin/gedit
The event will trigger fine and Gedit will popup fine of you press CTRL+1 when the menu is visible in Mythtv. The event won't trigger when you press CTRL+1 during playback (I tested while playing a recording).

FWIW, the event will actually trigger if the Playback OSD menu is present, but it is otherwise ignored during playback.
