mythweb page does not load, shows blank screen

After installing both 0.27 and master versions of mythweb it seems that there is an issue when accessing mythweb. Apache2 error output:

[Fri Sep 05 18:28:04 2014] [error] [client 192.168.43.222] PHP Fatal error:  Class 'MythBackend' not found in /var/www/includes/utils.php on line 56

setting "setenv include_path" which points to the php bindings did not resolve the problem.

There have been some recent changes to support php7 (primarily for arch linux)

You did not specify what your platform was, what php version etc.

Can you update to the latest version and try again.

No reply to request for more info in 11 months, and seems to work properly for everyone else. Most likely an installation issue.
