The LCD display does not show mythbackend events

Description
Mythbackend events, such as in progress recordings, are not displayed on the LCD display, even when the display backend events option is configured. This appears to be a startup problem between mythbackend, mythfrontend, mythlcdserver, and LCDd. This use to work correctly in previous versions. This issue has been observed by more than one user.
Work around: while mythbackend, mythfrontend, and mythlcdserver are running, restart LCDd. This corrects the issue.
