Description

I have been working with Craig in the OS X forum to try to determine why MythTV is unable to play channel 42 when in the past it was able to. Here is the link to the forum discussion. ​https://forum.mythtv.org/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=775&p=3755#p3755 I have HDHomeRun Extend and have been working with SiliconDust? to see if there is a problem with the tuner. They found that the broadcaster is messing up but HDHomRun is ok playing the channel. I have had no problem viewing this channel with SiliconDust? application. SiliconDust? recommended that I file a bug report since they are not sure why MythTV isn't playing this channel. They want a link to this so they can help with the follow up.

The version of MythTV I have is V0.27.4-f1115fcd-MacPorts?.

I have found that the HDHomeRun Extend tuner was set for Transcode Profile heavy. I changed the setting to none and now I have channel 42 again in MythTV.

So this ticket can be closed.
