"Only Show Distinct Shows" no longer works

Description

In the search page, the checkbox for "Only Show Distinct Shows" no longer work after upgrade to 0.28 from 0.27. Only show distinct shows should only show a single result per show title.

One way I test this is to search for movies from 2015 to 2016. I will see the same show displayed several times in the results, instead of only once. This makes looking at a unique list of shows very difficult, as there are repeated entries for every showing of that show now that it's broken.
