m3u8 file starting from very beginning?

Description

I currently have the following m3u8 loaded into my MythTV.

​http://video.metv.com/metv/index.m3u8

For some reason even though I load that exact m3u8 into various players such as ffmpeg, Kodi, VLC, and a Chrome Browser Player it always starts from the current time showing the video to be expected.

Yet I believe due to the m3u8 having older .ts files listed in the various m3u8's, MeTV will sometimes play video from 10 to 30 minutes ago.
