I also use Australian DVB-T tunner and get something similar:

The "Parser not found for Codec Id: 94210" error is not considered an error. It's a side effect of the interactive TV stuff. Yes, it's somewhat ugly, but not a problem...
The issue with the preview generation is however a problem.

I am seeing this error. PNG files are randomly 121 bytes (blank/black). Some are perfectly normal. Problem occurs on multiple channels. I am in Australia.

Also, problem originates with source PNG's in main data dir, not with MythWeb copy.

Also, problem seemed to first appear when enabling lossless transcode.

Yeah, I live in Queensland -- same story here, although I've not yet seen the likes of codec id 94210, I definitely see a lot of codec id 94211...and latterly (as of 11/2007) I'm seeing the number 94212 as well. It would be interesting to know exactly what this is, and why it changes from time to time, I wonder about the explanation of it being part of 'interactive tv' as such...as in, please define 'interactive tv' - as far as I (and many others) peceive it, 'free-to-air' teevee broadcasts are -not- interactive as it were in Australia -- everything is one way, free from the air to screen.
If indeed it is interactive tv related, then it must be there being used by someone - else why include the tag in the first place, and maybe it's market research related or of survey material, or something yet to come -- whatever :: the things is, right now, that we don't have a need to deal with it at all, so why not just ingore it?...get the code to do that, not generate an error and do something else instead?
