Mythtv channel scan works in a random way

Description

I use a AverMedia? Avertv Volar dvb-t usb stick and when I scan channels with in Mythbackend configuration I get random results.

I did a test and scan 4 times one after another, and the 4 times the list of channels was different. The 4 chanels scans took less than 5 minutes in total.

I have ended up using scan aplication from linuxtv.org and loading the resulting channels.conf into mythtv.

Not enough info to open a ticket. Did anon increase his timeouts from the defaults, did this have any effect? Did anon try SVN head, did scanning work there? Where is the "mythtv-setup -v channel,siparser" log?

We've fixed this behaviour in head already.
