Description

Any mono audio source that wants to playback via spdif will output no sound.

I am running rpmfusion 0.21 fixes Version 17 FC10 i386, Stereo sound and AC3 (5.1 via passthrough) work perfectly, however any mono source played will output no sound.

The problem you are probably seeing is that SPDIF doesn't actually support mono output.

Myth currently has no upsampling for this case - And this will be fixed by #5900 or similar.
