commit 925e82c39e0f250caf2b didn't fix #9791 for me

My system was also having the #9791 symptoms when downloading from another frontend the metadata for video files. I still have the same symptom and since commit 925e82c39e0f250caf2b (actually, since commit d10719f, which was the commit I upgraded to), I can no longer stop the MB gracefully - by using the /etc/init.d/mythbackend stop command - after it crashes. I have to "kill -9 mythbackend".

Again, we're going to need logs. -v network on both front and backend, I would guess.

Sorry for the delay, Robert, I haven't forgotten about it. I was running the remote FE with -v important,general,socket and deleted and redownloaded metadata but the problem didn't appear again. I will try now with -v network both on the MB that gets stuck and the remote FE. (The time difference, though is a problem: It's 11:50 am here.)

I am now on dd4e47b and the problem hasn't occured for a while, especially not since fb34130d3a7d.
