[0.26] [ubuntu quantal 12.10] mythtv-database ERROR 1046 (3D000) at line 22: No database selected

Description

I installed mythtv 0.26 on ubuntu 12.10 distibution for 3 weeks. entire installation is successful, setup and daily use ditto.

I did a apt-get upgrade three days ago and the following error message is returned to me consistently:

Setting mythtv-database (2:0.26.0 ~ master.20120927.478de41-0ubuntu0mythbuntu3) ... ERROR 1046 (3D000) at line 22: No database selected dpkg: error processing mythtv-database (- configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

ditto by a sudo dpkg-reconfigure mythtv-database - force => ERROR 1046 (3D000) at line 22: No database selected

I uninstalled (- purge) completely mythtv, mysql and reinstalled everything = same observation

I checked my database mythconverg = OK the user and password are OK

everything works fine except the mythfrontend GUI:

  • Adding music in the database
  • Mythweb that no longer works and displays the following error:

Warning at / usr / share / mythtv / mythweb / modules / _SHARED / tmpl / default / header.php, line 12: ! Notrans: Can not modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at / usr / share / mythtv / mythweb / modules / _SHARED / tmpl / default / header.php: 47)

None of those are MythTV problems.

Your database is corrupted.

Search google on how to recover the db. Make sure you back up what you have left.
