Description
Hi,
I'm requesting help here as there is nothing else I can think of to try.
I'm running MythTV installed from the official repositories of Fedora 17 x86_64.
I have a Tuner (Encore ENLTV-FM3) which uses Phillips SAA 7134. This is working flawlessly with TvTime? for example, which has no problems tuning the channels.
However no matter what TV norm or channels frequencies table I choose, I can't get mythTV to find any channels (showing something like "us-cable chanell XX locked" or Argentina, where I live which has its own channel table option in the application) and the scan passes thru very quickly.
Is this a known problem with the tuner or an application problem?.
I will appreciate any comments or suggestions, I can post log traces when I get home.
Thanks and regards,

This actually may be an instance of this bug #10553 which I also get with Fedora/RPM Fusion package package. Here's the downstream tracking bug: https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2817
