Description (last modified by paulh)

Running on Fedora 20 with 27.1 fixes (git commit g6b14852), I'm having intermittent problems with video initialize on a remote frontend.

If I exit the frontend and try again, it works.

Try starting mythfrontend with -O vdpauhwaccel=0

and see if it works any better for you

It increased the amount of time between failures, but it still happens.

We usually watch TV in the evenings. And it used to be that every night it would fail and I'd have to restart the frontend. With that option, it may be a few days between failures.
