Description
When using mytharchive to burn a recorded program to DVD, since the file name does not contain the PATH of the file, therefore the file cannot be found by the mytharchive program. To burn a "video" file is ok because the original database also store the file name with the path.

The fixes branch version of MythArchive? uses the 'RecordFilePrefix?' to find the recordings so the full path isn't needed only the filename of the recording.
MythArchive? only supports combined frontend/backend systems. I suspect you are trying to use it on a remote frontend which isn't going to work. There is a work around to get it to work that involves setting up and NFS/samba share and pointing the 'RecordFilePrefix?' on the frontend to point to the share. Search the mailing list archives I'm sure this has been discussed several times before.
