Description
I recently transcoded some of my recordings to XviD and X.264 in an AVI container. The previews generated by MythWeb (via the UPnP /Myth/GetPreviewImage? method) are always garbled. It looks as though the frames that are grabbed are not keyframes, but rather something in between. The result is a bad image. I was sure to rebuild the seektable prior to generating the preview pixmaps.
This only seems to happen for the AVI container. NuppleVideo? and MPEG-2 work fine. I have not tested other container formats.
I have attached sample .png files to illustrate the results.

Not sure if this is known and planned to be fixed as part of task #3361.

This also happens for me when transcoding away commercials from recordings. I'm not 100 on this but I think I'm doing a lossless transcode so the video quality is the same. So every ".nuv" file has garbled preview image. I have a feeling this started at rev 15029 or a little before.
