#4614 closed defect (fixed)

Mythgallery fails to play files with multiple dots on filename

Reported by: jouse@… Owned by: Isaac Richards
Priority: minor Milestone: unknown
Component: mythgallery Version: 0.20.2
Severity: medium Keywords: mythgallery filename
Cc: Ticket locked: no

I'm using MythGallery to play CD's with avi-files. Files that have multiple dots in their filename fail to play (ie doesn't work while this_is_a_movie.avi does).

The problem doesn't appear with picturefiles, so it must have something to do with how MythGallery passes the filename to mplayer. Running 'mythfrontend -v all' doesn't give any output when attempting to play the "invalid" files.

(In [15874]) Backport [15675] to fixes branch.

Fix a bug in MythGallery where it was failing to find the correct file extension on files with more that one '.' in the filename.

Fixes #4614. Refs #4542.
