Description
When playing back recordings using ALSA:spdif (I run everything through my digital output) as my audio output, recordings seem like they are being sped up without me adjusting the timestretch factor. This also occurs when playing back HD recordings containing an ac3 audio track using passthrough. I have tried many different settings but nothing seems to work. I just built from .21-fixes svn today, and am running knoppmyth. Audio was working fine with a revision I had built from trunk on Feburary 4, 2008. I am attaching a log of a playback of an HD recording with ac3 audio, and an SD recording with a mp2 audio track. Both recordings are 2 channel.

After a bit of digging and reading, i have determined that this is related to ticket 4764. I increased the buffer size in libs/libmyth/audiooutputalsa.cpp back to 500000 to see if that would resolve the issue and it did. I see that you are trying to find the lowest value that still works with passthrough to spdif, so i'll see if I can test some other values. This ticket can be closed, thanks.
