this issue didnt happen in 20410 reproduce: 1. fresh install of mythtv 2. run mythtv-setup and configure 1.general to 4. 3. in 4. click the scan channels setup display freezes and crash:

Any clues as to when this will be fixed? I have Mythbuntu 9.10 installed with an analog card that used to scan channels perfectly but now it does not anymore... Maybe it would be better to enable the button, as I am not sure it crashes for everyone? It did not in my case...

Increase the logging level please! Can we get a step-by-step logging for analog scans for troubleshooting this issue?

Is there any help that a normal user can be to try to solve this problem? I will provide any log data necessary to assist in fixing this. I have both a PVR500 and HVR 1600, so not having analog channels sucks for me.
