.iso files out of sync in mythvideo
Reported by: | anonymous | Owned by: | skamithi |

Priority: | minor | Milestone: | unknown |
Component: | MythTV - DVD Playback | Version: | head |
Severity: | low | Keywords: | .iso sync nfs |
Cc: | Ticket locked: | no |
Description
Playing back all tested .iso's in mythvideo results in audio sync and video that appears to be running too fast.
All iso's are on a nfs share (though I suspect that is NOT the issue).
System is using standard playback settings with no acceleration and deinterlacing is disabled.
.img disk images as well as all other formats play fine, it's just .iso. All tested .iso were ripped without menus, and they all worked fine in 0.21.
Running Mythbuntu 9.10 Beta with daily myth build repo activated.

It appears to be a sound buffering issue, judging by the constant stream of: NVP::AddAudioData?():p1: Audio buffer overflow, audio data lost'' that starts once the video gets playing.
Strange that everything else I play works fine.
If it matters, I am passing all audio out via spdif, but ATSC content works just fine so it's not an AC3 audio issue as far as I can tell.

does the same dvd , i.e batman forever play out of sync from the original dvd when using mythtv's internal player?

Yes... I just tested and the problem appears with all tested DVD's as well as .iso's. I have not tested a single .iso or DVD without errors. (though I admit I have not tested many)
