Windows 7 IR problem

Description

I'm using a Phillips Microsoft Media Center Edition IR control but the remote is not fully functional in Windows 7. This same IR is fully functional when Myth frontend runs in Ubuntu on the same computer. All keys also function in Boxee running under Win 7. In Myth on Win 7 most of the remote's keys do not work. While watching a recording, for example, the following do not work: Play, Stop, skip, fwd, rew, replay, more, back. Fortunately the volume button, the OK button, and the left, right, up and down keys that surround the OK button do work.

Feature request without patch, myth provides no direct remote support at all, it is provided by LIRC.
