Description

Hi, I have issue with mythmusic and playback via SPDIF. Audio dev scanned. All other plugins seems to work OK (rec. playback, mythvideo with 2.0 & 5.1 sound, mythstream, mplayer, etc). Issue is only on FE with SPDIF. Analog out works OK. Sys is 0.24-fixes 27089, alsa 1.0.23. Log "Playback, extra" log attached. Mythmusic out dev set to "default".

Ticket is invalid. Described behavior is result of Mythmusic bug: if soundfile is broken, and resume is set to exact - mythmusic hangs on this file. It is impossible to change to another song - this gives impression that issue is whit mythmusic sound output.

Status: new → closed

Invalid ticket according to reporter, MP3 file was broken. We can't expect mythmusic to play broken files, but we don't want Mythmusic to hang on them either. If you can produce a small sample which reproduces the issue, you might want to create a new ticket with it.
