Description
I used "Scan for Changes" in mythvideo on the frontend. Unfortunately the NFS drive with the videos was not mounted and it promptly erased the metadata for all of the videos as it could not find them.
In previous versions of myth there was be a warning box when videos were removed/went missing which would ask you to confirm for each (or all) whether you wanted to remove it or not. This function is sorely missed in the current version. Certainly there needs to be a check before removing videos en masse as that is rarely the right thing to do.

MythVideo? relies on the files being accessible. The warning box you speak of was removed in the MythUI port. I'd be willing to entertain a patch to re-add it, but as the scanner and the UI are now divorced, this is pretty difficult. Since I don't plan to add it myself, I'm closing this as a feature request without patch.
