mythtranscode errors out at end of file

Description
I had successfully been using mythtranscode to cut commercials out of my recordings, but recently, after a compile of the latest release (0.20.2), mythtranscode started erroring out at the end of every transcoding operation.
running mythtranscode with --showprogress produces this...

The error comes at the end of every transcoding operation I've tried with every file.
This error seems to be similar to Ticket #1333 http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/1333
Everything is working now after a restart of mythbackend!
