Description
Sometimes the recording video overlays the EPG display. The EPG is still active, and it flashes when you press up / down / right / left, but the video is re-drawn over it.
This problem disappears if you enter the setup screen and then play the recording.
To Reproduce:
- Start mythfrontend
- Immediately go to Media Library -> Watch Recordings
- Select a recording and start watching it.
- Go to Menu -> Program Guide
- The EPG will display under the video. Press the arrow buttons and the EPG will flash.
- Exit the recording
- Go to Utilities -> Setup -> General
- Hit <escape> to back out of the setup dialog
- Go to Media Library -> Watch Recordings
- Select a recording and start watching it.
- Go to Menu -> Program Guide
- The EPG will display properly.
This is with trunk 23718 on linux using standard X video, and it acts this way with Terra, MythCenter?-wide and arclight.

Thanks, Mark
This is my system info:
- Quad core 2.8 GHz Pentium
- 4 GB System Memory
- 1 GB GeForce? 9400 GT
- nVidia drivers 180.29
- Qt 4.6.2
I've attached two logs:
- bad.out exhibited the problem (i.e. the EPG was covered)
- good.out didn't (I went into setup first and the EPG wasn't covered)
I appreciate the help.

This works without issue here. Can you attach the full output of mythfrontend -v playback and provide details of your hardware and drivers.
thanks, Mark
