Problem with screenshots when using Hellenic translation

Reported by: yianniv Owned by: Anduin Withers
Priority: minor Milestone: unknown
Component: Plugin - MythVideo Version: head
Severity: medium Keywords:
Cc: Ticket locked: no

Description

I reported it in the 7945 ticket some time ago, and the problem still remains: When I have any of my frontends using the Hellenic language, The Season covers appear instead of the episode screenshots. Changing language to English brings the screenshots back.

This behaviour occurs in Graphite, Metallurgy, Mythbuntu themes (the ones I tried).

I know that technically this is not a bug since there is no Hellenic language yet, but maybe it affects other translations too?

This isn't a bug, it's a translation/confgiuration issue-- if you use a translation, terms like season/episode etc in your folder names need to be translated as well. MythVideo? searches for certain terms in the parent folder like "Season" (the comparisons are translated) to decide whether to display covers or screenshot. A random guess (though there are several scenarios) is that you are using folders like "Season 1" etc.. You can either use the Greek translation for Season in your folder names, remove the season folders and make the parent folder name match the title, or translate Season as "Season" in your greek translation. If you'd like to understand more, please take it to the user list.

Robert, thank you for this clarification. Yes, it is "season x"
